This book was written in collaboration with Pete Carlisle, who has a very active and imaginative mind.

Review The battle between good and evil is, almost always, the stuff fiction is made of, a literary trend that screams of triteness. But in the spellbinding new book, The Dome of Evil, author Billie L. Stephens gives it a fresh approach through a tale of unmatched horror and growing suspense.

Joshua and Lucy are just sixteen without a care in the world. But things are soon to change when they are haunted by a demon. Lucy begins to have unusual visions and Joshua has paralyzing visits from the demon. Years later, both of them discover that they are still haunted. An investigation brings them to Father Mark who has dreamed of the coming of the Chosen One, one touched by angels and pursued by demons. The final confrontation is at the demon’s mansion. The death of two priests leads to a battle against the hordes of demons that gathered to support their leader’s rise to power.

In The Dome of Evil, Stephens exhibits a stunningly prodigious writing dexterity that brings fiction to a whole new level. Here, he operates on an impressive breadth of imagination and a masterful command of language, rendering his novel a first-rate literary success.
